We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales & Events Manager to support a high-performing hospitality property in the Vero Beach area. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent based on performance and business needs.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving revenue through group sales and event bookings, while actively engaging with the local community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage group room bookings (corporate, leisure, sports teams, etc.)
  • Drive event and banquet space sales (meetings, celebrations, social events)
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and convert leads into confirmed business
  • Conduct property tours and build relationships with prospective clients
  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and coordinate booking details
  • Collaborate with on-site team to ensure smooth execution of events
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities through outreach and networking
  • Represent the property at community events, networking functions, and local partnerships
  • Attend and host events on-site, including evenings and weekends as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel sales, event sales, or hospitality sales preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple leads and priorities simultaneously
  • Self-starter with a focus on closing deals and driving revenue
  • Professional presence and ability to represent the property in the community
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on event and business needs
